Pastor Jurie and Chrisna Jooste have served in the local church for 20 years. From 2002-2010 Jurie attended bibleschool at Lewende Woord in South Africa under leadership of one of his Spiritual leaders Pastor Nevil Norden. He met Chrisna at the church where she was serving under Pastor Nevil’s wife, Rina Norden. Pastor Jurie and Chrisna got married in 2005 and have been married for over 15 years. They have a beautiful son Juwald Benjamin Jooste whom is eleven years old.

Pastor Jurie completed his Bachelor of Ministry and Honors in Mentoring through Calvary University in America. He is currently busy completing his Masters degree in Church planting. Chrisna completed her Masters degree in Natural Science and is currently completing her doctors degree in information systems. They make a great team with Chrisna making a impact in the corporate world.

Between 2010-2019 they served in a planting team that helped establish and plant two local churches, they also led a third local church plant in Pretoria East, South Africa. At the end of January in 2020 Pastor Jurie received Word from God to establish Lions of the Valley Ministries. This Word was received just before the outbreak of the corona virus, confirming the season and timing.

Pastor Jurie and Chrisna moved in obedience and faith on this word and believed God. Isiah 55:10-12. They are assisted with a strong team of people who have a love for the local Church and Gods people. Valley of Life Church story began with the Holy Spirit speaking to Pastor Jurie through Ezekiel 37. He started sharing the Vision with people the Holy Spirit laid upon his heart and trusting God for a launch team of people that would want to serve and be part of the Valley of Life Church Community.
